Do I have to pay when I book, and is it secure?

It depends on the studio. Some studios take payment at the time of booking; others bill you afterward by invoice.

If payment is required at booking

After you select Confirm booking, you're sent to a secure Stripe Checkout page to pay for the lesson. Once your payment goes through, you'll land on a Payment received page confirming your lesson, and Stripe emails you a receipt.

If you close the Checkout page without paying, your time slot isn't held — it's released so others can book it.

If payment isn't required at booking

Your lesson is confirmed right away and you'll get a confirmation email. The studio invoices you separately later. An invoice link may offer card payment through Stripe, plus options like Venmo or Zelle, depending on the studio.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe, a trusted payment provider. You enter your card details on Stripe's secure checkout — the studio never sees or stores your card number.

A note on the "Payment pending" page

If the success page says Payment pending, your payment just hasn't been confirmed yet. Wait a moment and refresh the page. If it still doesn't confirm, contact the studio.
